Consulting Policies and Sample Agreements

Aavalar Consulting employs two types of consultants. The first are those consultants who work as W2 employees of Aavalar and the second are those consultants who work as independent contractors. To get started as a W2 consultant is very easy. All that is needed is to complete W4, I9, NACCB Standard W2 Consultant's Agreement and direct deposit forms. To view Click here

Once the paper work is done you start work and get a direct deposit at the end of the pay period!

If you are a consultant who wants to work as an independent contractor, you need to be incorporated and more information must be provided to Aavalar. First you will need to provide a certificate of incorporation, certificate of general liability insurance, as well as proof that you properly filed last year's corporate taxes (this usually means providing the first page of last year's signed corporate tax return with numbers blanked out). Then you will need to fill out a W9 form, and an NACCB Standard Subcontractor Agreement. To view Click here.

Finally, subcontractors get paid only when Aavalar receives payment from its clients. So if you must have prompt payment, you will probably want to do a W2 arrangement.
